Sherlock Holmes.

After watching this film, I have to admit that I am now a fan of Guy Ritchie. He and the writers really captured the essence of Sherlock Holmes, starting off slow and precise then building up to fantastic action sequences retaining the same darkness in the books with intelligent humour. I cannot think of anyone who would be a better Sherlock than Robert Downey Jnr in this movie. Looking forward to...

Last night.

Midnight screening of Avatar at IMAX. What can I say, it really is a Western set in space! The alien sex scene did make a couple of moviegoers a little uncomfortable but it was all mesmerising none the less. Highly entertaining and made me choke up in some moments. James Cameron is a master of what he does.
